Exploring the wonderful world of 2 Stone ring designs "Toi et Moi "

When I was training as a Goldsmith we mainly worked on traditional Art Deco designs and everything had to be accurate and symmetrical as this was regarded as being more pleasing to the eye. Now this is subjective of course, but sometimes when it comes to design the rules are meant to be broken.
When I first started designing and creating my own brand it didn't take me long to realise that I wanted to focus heavily on asymmetry. The rise in popularity of the 2 stone rings fits right into our niche.
Thanks to celebrities like Emily Ratachowski and Ariana Grande having mismatched 2 stone rings, the Toi et Moi Ring has made a comeback.
Two stone rings or "Toi et Moi" rings are nothing new. Napoleon Bonaparte even created one of these styles for his fiancé as far back as 1890. The Toi et Moi engagement ring meaning is "you and me": Featuring two distinct diamonds or gemstones set side by side, representing two individuals coming together in love.
The defining feature of Toi et Moi is choosing Diamonds and Gemstones that resonate with the couples unity.
Different shapes, sizes and colours combinations can be a lot of fun. The most important factor we focus on when creating a Toi et Moi engagement ring for a client is balance. Making something mismatched look effortlessly but together is the key to these designs.
In our Hatton Garden work shop, hand-made bespoke design is our specialty.
And custom 2 stone engagement rings make up a big part of our creations. In our current world where jewellery trends come and go the Toi et Moi stands as a timeless symbol of enduring love. This duality serves as a constant reminder of the bond and commitment shared by two people in love.
